People hugely under-estimate the importance of good writing – it would be great if organisations invested as much time and effort into writing skills as they do in technology. Because good writing is more than getting grammar and spelling right.

Good writing starts with knowing what you want to say and who your readers are. You need to structure your text and select the right words. Learn to KISS (keep it short & simple). It’s about quality, not quantity.

Relevant and interactive

Do you use text to communicate? To inform and explain things that people need to know, to find funding, to tell a story or pitch a proposal? You may be a journalist – but you could also be a communication professional at a company, pubic sector organisation or NGO.

Producing effective text

This workshop is for everyone who needs to produce effective text – for your website/social media accounts, reports, press releases, proposals, pitches, blogs or teasers.

I believe training should be relevant, interactive and, above all, effective. That means not only sharing knowledge and skills, but motivating people to develop and improve their communication skills on all levels.
